Outreach for Ukrainian Refugees
CCCNMO has a rich history of serving refugees from Ukraine and the surrounding region, having resettled 80+ Ukrainian refugees over the last ten years. While resettlement is a national conversation between federal governments, our agency strives to be constantly prepared for case arrivals and services for refugees across the globe.
As the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine continues to unfold, we remain prepared to help serve the needs of refugees when called upon. A bit closer to home, we are developing outreach services to support those who have rebuilt their lives in mid-Missouri and have resettled through our agency.
Recently, adjustments have been made to the FSU Lautenberg Program, a program that provides a pathway for members of historically persecuted religious groups from Ukraine and other countries in the Former Soviet Union to be reunited with family members in the United States. Catholic Charities Refugee Services staff are now in the process of connecting with Ukrainian families living mid-Missouri who desire to file a digital Affidavit of Relationship (AOR) petition to help Ukrainian refugees rejoin their families in the U.S. Below, you will find a "Lautenberg Program Inquiry Form" to assist families in filing those petitions.
Steps you can take now
- Use the form below to submit an inquiry to our agency, there you can also indicate whether or not you need help completing the AOR.
- Once the form is submitted, our Program Coordinator will contact you to provide the AOR forms and walk you through the process if needed.
