Our Impact: Spotlight on Volunteerism

in 2022 1095 active volunteers performed over 25,000 hours of service with and for Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri.

From manning the front-desk at one of our office locations, to scanning and bagging groceries for neighbors in the Catholic Charities Food Pantry, to helping our clients access healthcare, school, and employment with in-a-pinch transportation, our volunteers are passionate about serving others and generous with their time.

Our agency is built on the cornerstone of local folks’ involvement, and the volunteer groups we host on-site or connect with out in the community advance our mission of providing care and creating hope from a place of generosity and love. Time and time again we see our volunteers show up ready to serve with a smile and eager to build relationships with the people they encounter during their service here.

Every year hundreds of volunteers assist us with making our programs a reality. Interested in serving your neighbors in need? Come and join us.

From the countless hours invested in newcomers by our community sponsors, to our English Language Learning teachers, to those who are answering our phones with helpful hearts, we are sincerely grateful.
