Family Immigration Services to pause accepting new clients through 2023
To continue serving clients with active cases and timely deadlines, Catholic Charities has made the challenging decision to pause intake for new legal immigration cases through January 3, 2024 – with a few exceptions. Existing client cases will, of course, continue to be serviced with care.
Family Immigration Services staff and DOJ Accredited Representatives have worked diligently to ensure clients are properly screened when calling to best understand whether or not they are eligible to schedule an appointment.
Knowing that client cases that are currently open or pending will continue to be serviced, appointment types available to new clients for the remainder of 2023:
- Afghan and Ukranian SIV/TPS status
- DACA cases
- Permanent resident cards expiring within the next six (6) months
