Un viaje hecho con la esperanza en un futuro mejor es emprendido por muchos que dejan su país natal.

Esperan encontrar un nuevo horizonte, lleno de oportunidades para ellos y para sus seres queridos.

Para muchos como Martin Barajas, salir de su tierra fue una decisión difícil.

Por lo tanto, no se debe calificar cómo una aventura, sino como una valiente decisión.

Residente permanente desde el año1990.

Martin, mexicano de nacimiento decidió pasar por el proceso de hacerse ciudadano de los Estados Unidos después de 32 años.

Con su familia establecida en La Monte, Missouri y su linda nietecita nacida en este país, ¡Martin estaba listo para abrazar la ciudadanía estadounidense!

¡El día llegó!

Martin recibió su ciudadanía, la mañana del 19 de agosto de 2022, en el Estadio Kauffman, Kansas City, entre 502 nuevos ciudadanos de 94 nacionalidades.

Martin es un ejemplo de muchos residentes permanentes que han contribuido con su buen carácter cristiano y con su esfuerzo laboral a la sociedad de los Estados Unidos.

Como Martin, aquellos que confían en Dios, verán realizarse sus promesas: Porque yo sé muy bien los planes que tengo para ustedes — afirma el Señor —, planes de bienestar y no de calamidad, a fin de darles un futuro y una esperanza. Jeremías 29:11

Es bueno saber que este proceso a pesar de parecer intimidante, no se tiene que pasar solo.
