Advent Reflections: A Conversation with the Author

We’re so thrilled to share Advent Reflections from author, Joe Benevento, this year with subscribers at Catholic Charities. Ahead of releasing our first episode, we sat down with Joe to talk about the process of writing his novel, My Perfect Wife, Her Perfect Son – which was released earlier this year. In addition to being an excellent Christmas gift for friends and family, purchases of the book directly support the services and outreach of Catholic Charities to those who need help the most.

Professor funds charitable work through new novel

“My Perfect Wife, Her Perfect Son,” a creative retelling of the Christmas story of the birth of Jesus from St. Joseph’s point of view is the latest novel written by former Truman State University professor Dr. Joseph Benevento. The novel was published during March of this year and Benevento is donating 100% of all royalties to Catholic Charities USA in hopes of helping the Kirksville community.
